POSTED: January 24, 1991  Betsy Opel of Foress Sign Co. unhooks the neon sign from Corl's Book Store, a fixture at Fifth Street and Madison Avenue for more than 60 years until it closed in December. Former owners Bob and Maud Corl have donated the sign to the Benton County Museum in Philomath. Watching on Wednesday were, left to right, Bob Corl, Gary Feuerstein and Dave Livingston of Endex Engineering, and Vince Zettler of the museum. Feuerstein and Livingston suggested that the sign be donated. |
