Prevention and Repression Mobile patrols will be present to defend the tourists from thefts PISA. It has been decided to establish a fixed patrol of police in Piazza dei Miracoli for crimes contributing to the situation of uneasiness of numerous tourists pickpocketed or robbed in the artistic zone of the city, along the axis that goes from Via Santa Maria to Piazza dei Miracoli and to the Wall. At this moment, in action in city - 113 men, directed by Gianluca Greco - forces from the Tuscan section of the crime prevention services of Lazio. The police in the Cathedral plaza will operate from a mobile center, connected with patrols of the 113 servicemen and with men in the Mobile Squadron. Always part of the usual preventive services, the other night, for prostitution, the arrest and identification of 4 people, two Brazilians and two other foreign prostitutes, one Romanian and a Macedonian, stopped on the Aurelia at the height of traffic on the freeway. These four, also, identified and photographed, have been deported. More still, a 50 year old Pisan M. P., arrested and released on bail for driving in a state of drunkenness, who at 10 PM, July 1st, completely drunk at the wheel of his auto, had smashed a road cart in largo St. Zeno. |
