LEANING TOWER OF PISA STILL STANDS
The famed LEANING TOWER of Pisa, In German-occupied section of the Italian city, still stands (above), as the battle for the ancient center continues. This photograph was taken from the ground, says Signal Corp caption. Apparently it was made with a long lens from a distance, with only the top portion of the tower showing. Note damage to building in front of tower.
