LEANING TOWER of PISA HUMOR

There is much good natured humor about the Pisa Bell Tower, a small sampling is exhibited below.   Of all the obvious amusing twists related to the Tower, there is one innocent and profound irony.   The oldest, and probably the most famous bell on the Tower is "Pasquereccia",
cast in 1262 by the famous maker of bells Lotteringo.

Engineers working on the Leaning Tower of Pisa in
Italy have attached long cables, called suspenders,

When in Pisa a mishap vehicular
Spilled Viagra a bunch in particular,
It had the effect
That tilt to correct,
Now that tower is quite perpendicular.

LEANING TOWER OF PISA
A HOAX PURPOSELY BUILT AS A TOURIST TRAP

Q.     If two champagne corks -- one made of plastic and one of actual cork -- were popped simultaneously from their respective bottles atop the Leaning Tower of Pisa, would they hit the ground at the same time?
Gordon, Pierre, South Dakota

A.     It depends on the brand of champagne. The initial velocity of the cork is directly correlated to the price of the bottle. It would also depend on how well chilled the bottles were. Even the attitude of the person popping the cork enters into the equation. A haughty head waiter would stifle the cork, while a boisterous fellow might help it along. Leonardo da Vinci and his pal Pope Leo IX conducted a similar experiment in 1511, but no accurate results are known. I just hope they had fun together.
