STATUE OF LIBERTY symbolizing Freedon and Liberty, Justice and Equality reflects the glorious ideals of America. It stands on Bedloe's Island in New York bay and can be seen for miles around. Its size can be easily appreciated when it is possible for forty persons to stand on the head and twelve in the torch. It is 151 feet high and was a gift from France being unveiled August 5, 1886,
