DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT FEES The fees noted below are typical for a 50,000 sf Middle School built in 1975. Fees will vary depending on the quantity and quality of the existing documents and the building conditions. Larger buildings will tend to have a lower fee; smaller buildings a higher fee, proportionately. An initial meeting with Endex would establish the scope of the Document program and the related fees. No services would be initiated without written Authorization. There is no charge for the initial meeting. Survey existing Drawings, Specifications, Balancing Data, Product Information, Field Reports, Maintenance Records, and Inspection Reports. Compile Master Inventory File materials by building or function. Place materials in permanent, protective containers - flat files for drawings, file cabinets/shelves for smaller items. Establish filing methods. Compare Documents to existing facilities. Record documents in functional disciplines - Site, Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical. Develop master list of maintenance equipment. Complete missing Documents focusing on maintenance needs - Drawings, Equipment Data, Balancing Data Scan Documents into Owner’s preferred software format - Adobe, Word, Wordperfect, Excel, or as requested. Establish directory structure specific to Owner’s maintenance program. Maintain files, update as changes occur. Add materials as maintenance tasks develop. $ 165       225      440      440 *   1,760 ** ***       *   VARIES WIDELY. Recent Buildings with complete documentation may not need any Infill work. Older Buildings with no documentation might require floor plans, and a building survey of utilities. Upper end costs might be $ 5000 for a service level of documentation. **   Quantity: 40 drawings and related equipment information in Adobe or other image files. Autocad drawings for all systems would be available at a fee to be detemined based on the existing documentation and the systems covered. ***   No front end costs. Updates are generated as buildings are remodeled, equipment is serviced and replaced. Updates are implemented as needed. Fees noted above do not include file cabinet or flat file furniture.
